Join Julie Rodriguez and Alison Currie of BBSI for WPA's Master Learning Group, a practical look at the two areas that shape pallet operations: people and risk. On the HR side, they'll cover the employee lifecycle: job descriptions, recruiting, screening, and assessments; onboarding and culture; retention through rewards, promotions, and generational differences; and supervisor leadership. The risk and safety segment tackles hazards specific to pallet plants: machine and tool injuries, ergonomic strain, combustible wood dust, and forklift incidents, and the controls that prevent them.
